About Our Site

The American Legion Jersey Boys State website was originally developed by Andrew MacFarlane of ICSoftware, who was generous enough to devote many hours to the development and maintenance of the site, as well as the financial backing to support it. Much thanks go to Andrew and all of his hard work and dedication through the years.

This site is now maintained by the Technology Committee of the New Jersey Boys State Foundation (as of April 2005). Members of this committee continue to donate their time and efforts to create a dynamic and informative site for the delegates, parents, sponsors, staff and friends of the ALJBS program.

About the Technology Group

As stated above, this site is now maintained by the Technology Committee of the New Jersey Boys State Foundation. The subcommittee charged with this maintenance and creation is headed by Webmaster Dominic F. Santillo. Mr. Santillo was a delegate to the ALJBS program back in June of 1996 for the program's 51st Anniversary year from Garfield, NJ (Bergen County - Post #255). Mr. Santillo began his involvement as a Junior Assistant Counselor and progressed through the ranks to Senior City Counselor in 1999. He was promoted to Assistant Dean of City Staff in 2005 for his assistance in recruitment of Junior Counselors, then became Dean of Staff in 2009. Though mostly involved in sports throughout the years, Dominic put his college degree from The College of New Jersey in Information Systems to good use when he began work with the Technology Committee before the 2004 session and became webmaster in April 2005. Mr. Santillo is currently employed as a Clinical Systems Analyst at Kennedy Health System in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Other members of the Technology include:
Dean of Technology Brian Epstein (Network and Security Officer, The Institute for Advanced Study), Bryce Liskovec (Jr. Systems Administrator, The College of New Jersey), Logan Liskovec (Administrative & Help Desk Assistant, National Wildlife Fund), and Ben Rose (Network & Security Administrator, The Institute for Advanced Study).
