Our first submission comes to us from William Queale, Jr. A 1953 delegate to ALJBS from
Gloucester County, William went on to a career as a Professional Planning Consultant, in
which he was retained in 150 different towns and cities across NJ. (William graduated from
Rutgers-New Brunswick campus, in 1959 - the campus at which he attended ALJBS in June 1953.)
In a recent conversation with Mr. Queale, he shared, "I was in charge of over 60 municipal
master plans and zoning ordinances as well as 5 county master plans. In that role, I
testified as an expert witness in the courts and before governmental agencies over 120
times." Our sincerest thanks go out to
Mr. Queale for helping get this archive project started.
